Los Crestones: Villalobos, Costa Rica

In the hills surrounding the tiny town of Piedra de Rivas, near the Chirripó National Forest, a dozen producing families have come together to build a micro-milling facility called Beneficio Los Crestones. We’re celebrating almost two full decades of working with these families, and continue to fall in love with their coffees every year. This lot separates the Villalobos variety–one of the heirloom varieties of Costa Rica–making for a sweet and bright cup, with notes of lemon-lime, graham cracker, and oranges.
