In the back of her home, Bertha Obando's garden has grown from 500 coffee trees to around 4,000 over the last ten years.
Each year, she brings coffee to a local mill for sale; carefully paying attention to which varieties sell well and replanting when necessary. Her coffee, comprised of Castillo, Colombia, and Typica varieties is washed, fermented, and patio dried all in her backyard. An incredibly special coffee, Finca Jardín is bright and sweet, with notes of dried and fresh tropical fruit, and milk chocolate.
