Café Spotlight: Frost Me Cafe and Bakery, San Diego

Opened in 2018, Frost Me started as a bakery and turned into a full-service cafe in San Diego’s Little Italy. They pride themselves in making everything from scratch, from the croissants to the barista syrups! We sat down with owners Jon Parker and Audrey Hermes to find out more.

Why did you decide to open a cafe?

“We have always loved spending time at cafes around different cities, and wanted to share our experiences and vision of quality with our community.”

Why did you choose Ritual as your roasting partner?

“We wanted to bring amazing coffee to San Diego that was not offered here, and Ritual’s commitment to quality of product, as well as the commitment to the community and their team, was in line with our vision for our company. “Our Lavender Vanilla Bean Latte and our house-made quiche.”

What’s the most surprising task you do at your business?

“Well, Audrey is the head baker and Jon loves to mingle with the guests!”
