A sub-group of the Bwishaza Cooperative, Kungahara Women's Group is comprised of 206 members, founded in 2014.
They collectively own a plot of land where they grow their coffee and process their harvests at the Bwishaza cooperative. Coffee is washed, fermented in tile-lined tanks, and dried on raised beds. A bright and sweet coffee, Kungahara has notes of apple, honey and chocolate.
