This coffee was grown in Ethiopia's dense, mountainous forests, home to some of the world's most extraordinary and sought-after coffees.
The member cooperative Shanta Golba, part of the Sidama Coffee Farmer’s Cooperative union is comprised of over 1250 smallholder member farmers. These member farmers bring their coffee to the cooperative’s washing stations for processing where it is depulped, washed, fermented overnight in tanks, and dried on raised beds. This attention to detail and the fermentation process creates a cup with bright citrus notes, a full plum like sweetness, and tea like body.
