Need an excuse to escape to the Wine Country? The Oxbow Public Market in Napa buzzes yet again, and once you’re caffeinated it’s a one-stop shop for everything else that’s delicious (plus books)!
If you haven’t visited us before, Ritual holds court at a three-sided open format coffee bar at the north end of the Public Market – kinda like Napa’s version of the SF Ferry Building Marketplace.
We opened in the market in 2008, and our neighbors at the market represent the very best in what they do, including Fatted Calf Charcuterie, Hog Island Shellfish, Fieldworks Brewing and many more.
Our coffee bar customers are a mix of dedicated locals, mostly in the wine and fine food industries, and until recently many tourists, who come for the incredible food and wine.

With the lifting of restrictions in regard to dine-in restaurants and retail in Napa County, the market has reopened the spacious Oxbow River Deck, which has recently been remodeled with new, retractable shade structures and lighting. The Oxbow River Deck offers a significant number of open-air, socially distanced tables and seats for market guests.

Market merchants (including Ritual) will continue to offer convenient pre-ordering and pickup options for you to take advantage of the river deck open-air seating or to bring elsewhere. In addition, the market is creating a designated curbside delivery area in the parking lot east of the main market hall as a convenient drive-thru service- and we’ll deliver your coffee to your car when you Order Ahead.
But trust us, you’re going to want to stick around.

With 16 merchants open to serve customers, the market has activated comprehensive health and safety protocols that have met or exceeded all state and county health requirements, and will continue to monitor the number of customers inside the market to comply with social distancing regulations.
Our current hours inside the market are 8:30am – 3pm daily (directions to the market). Come say hi!
